Location: Multiple locations across North Ayrshire & Renfrewshire

Hours:  40 - 50 hours per week (flexible shifts available)
Salary: £12.85 – £13.05 per hour


About the Role

Double Crown Health Ltd is seeking passionate and experienced Senior Social Care Workers to join our growing team across North Ayrshire and Renfrewshire. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to lead by example while supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential care environment.

Whether you're based in a town or rural village, we may have a shift pattern to suit you. We understand the importance of flexibility and are proud to offer customisable working hours, including day and night shifts and weekend rotations.


Areas We Cover

We are actively recruiting for services located across:

  • North Ayrshire: Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston, Kilwinning, Irvine, Largs, Beith, Dalry, Kilbirnie, and surrounding rural areas.

  • Renfrewshire: Paisley, Renfrew, Johnstone, Elderslie, Erskine, Bridge of Weir, Houston, Bishopton, and nearby villages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care and meaningful support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs

  • Lead and supervise a team of care staff to ensure the delivery of person-centred support

  • Collaborate with managers and senior staff to ensure high-quality standards are maintained

  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents

  • Support daily routines, encourage participation in activities, and help individuals build independence

  • Document care accurately and report concerns promptly


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working in the care sector (required)

  • A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (preferred for higher pay rate)

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – this is essential due to travel requirements across service locations

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

  • A proactive attitude and a desire to continue learning and growing in your role
